Professor Enrique Herrera-Viedma received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in 
Computer Sciences, both from the University of Granada (Spain) in 1993 
and 1996, respectively. He is currently a Professor at the Department of 
Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of 
Granada, and Vice-President for Research and Knowledge Transfer, and the 
Director of the Quality Evaluation and Information Retrieval Research 
Laboratory (SECABA). He has published more than 400 papers in JCR 
journals, his h-index is 85 and he presents more than 23000 citations in 
Web of Science. He is also Vice President Cybernetics in IEEE Systems 
Man and Cybernetics Society and Highly Cited Researcher in Computer 
Science according to Clarivate Analytic.
